While we all spend more time at home to help flatten the curve and slow the spread of COVID-19, Centre Moves wants to encourage individuals to get moving through a series of pop-up challenges. These short challenges will range from one to two weeks, with first and second place prize winners able to direct a $50 or $25 donation to one of our not-for-profit partners.
The first challenge begins Friday, April 3, and ends Thursday, April 16. Can you commit to moving one mile a day? All you have to do is move your body forward for at least one mile for 10 out of 14 days of the challenge. You can run, jog, walk, crawl, hike or bike. You can also convert your workout to distance with our active minutes to miles calculator. Don’t forget to follow social distancing guidelines and keep at least six feet between you and others.
